ESA BIC Bavaria company Terraplasma Medical is highlighted on the European Space Agency website! Terraplasma is developing a battery-powered pocket-size cold plasma treatment that was originally tested on the ISS by the Max Planck Institute for Extraterrestrial Physics (MPE). Today, Terraplasma Medical is using the positive characteristics of the cold plasma – such as the reduction of bacterial burden – to develop a pocket-size device called plasma care.
