ESA BIC Bavaria incubatee Qolware was recognized as one of the finalists of the MEDICA App COMPETITION and thus had the opportunity to pitch its business case in front of an expert jury.
The MEDICA App Competition awards the best app-based medical mobile solutions for patients- , doctor- and clinical daily life. As the world’s largest event for the medical sector, presenting the entire spectrum of innovations for outpatient and clinical care, a huge international audience was present at this pitch event. From May to September this year developers worldwide could submit their app-based medical mobile solutions. The 15 best-placed teams were invited to pitch at the MEDICA.
Qolware provides applications for mobile and wearable devices to detect health emergency situations, changes in everyday behaviour and asses’ risk of decline. Our solution gives chronic patients and seniors individual and proactive support to live more independently and get back in charge of their health. Qolware’s product Lola, a digital health and emergency assistant, is available in the Google Play Store.
Qolware joined the ESA Business Incubation Centre Bavaria in September 2017.
