Startup Capmo Raises EUR 1.8 million Seed Funding

Capmo, the ESA BIC Bavaria incubatee, received EUR 1.8 million in funding for its construction software. The Munich-based startup is developing intuitive software for construction sites, enabling collaborations to be digitised. Capmo uses artificial intelligence and modern web technology to make construction projects more sustainable and efficient.

The startup received seed financing of EUR 1.8 million for its productivity software. The investors are the venture capital company UVC Partners and HW Capital, the investment company owned by the Interhyp founders.

At the same time, the company’s name was changed. The company formerly known as PAVE is now called Capmo. Capmo joined the ESA BIC Bavaria in April 2018.

The ESA BIC Bavaria seeks entrepreneurs who use space technologies in a non-space environment. That does not mean rocket science, but applies to multiple fields of application such as navigation and positioning, communications techniques, Earth observation, materials, processes, signals and robotics.
