ESA BIC Bavaria alumnus Lilium wants to support modern cities to solve their growing mobility problems. On Sunday 21 January, Daniel Wiegand, CEO of Lilium, presented his vision how he imagines the mobility of the future at the DLD conference (focussing on Digital, Life and Design) in Munich. Founded in 2015 in Munich, the startup company has designed a fully electric aircraft with two seats, which can be called by app, starts vertically like a helicopter and then changes from a certain height into forward flight
On its way to revolutionise the mobility sector, the ESA BIC Bavaria alumnus already successfully accomplished flight tests with its fully electric Vertical Take – Off and Landing (VTOL) jet.
Lilium joined the ESA Business Incubation Centre (ESA BIC) Bavaria in Oberpfaffenhofen from February 2015 until January 2017.
