ESA BIC Bavaria incubatee blik is the “Runner-Up” of the Startup Battlefield at Disrupt Berlin 2017. TechCrunch’s Startup Battlefield brings top early-stage startups together on one stage to compete for the coveted Disrupt Cup, a $50,000 prize, and the attention of media and investors.
The winner blik provides real-time information about all of the items stored in a warehouse: Goods are usually scanned either manually or with RFID at single, static positions inside a warehouse. This leads to process deviations, lost working hours, and lost goods. blik solves these problems by offering real-time data on the location and condition of all goods in a warehouse, which, in turn, makes seven-digit savings possible. The entrepreneurs Bastian Burger (CEO), Victoria Hauzeneder (CTO) and Phillip Eller (COO) joined the ESA BIC Bavaria network in May 2017.
