The pioneering Artificial Intelligence (AI) computer vision startup and ESA BIC Bavaria incubatee TerraLoupe has raised tremendous funding in the seven-digit range.
The Munich startup creates a new basis for autonomous driving through an intelligent analysis of aerial image data. The technology of the company is based on AI and allows the efficient and highly automated generation of digital map material. For the first time, this allows to recognise and process objects and infrastructures on a large scale, in order to leverage autonomous driving. Therefore TerraLoupe is able to record road networks very precisely with centimetre accuracy.
